HOOKED

Pues, sí actualmente estoy colgado, y en mayúsculas, por un cover realizado por el grupo indie-pop-soul londinense liderado por Shingai Shiniwa The Noisettes de When You Were Young, temazo del Sam's Town de The Killers. No es, porque piense que actualmente The Killers es uno de los mejores grupos musicales del mundo (quizas junto con Coldplay y U2), y cuando me refiero a de los mejores grupos de la actualidad no me refiero a que sea el que mejores canciones tenga, sino que están en un status que su música llega a todo el mundo, hacen buenas canciones, tienen carisma... son un compendio de carisma-calidad-comercialidad que les hace estar ahí arriba, ni tampoco porque piense que el Sam's Town es uno de los mejores discos de los últimos años... sino porque la version realizada en el programa de Jo While Radio 1's Live Lounge es sencillamente exquisita y encantadora.

Radio 1's Live Lounge ya es un programa mítico, al menos para el autor de este blog, ya que en el se pueden encontrar actuaciones de los mejores grupos de la escena pop indie, interpretando sus temas en directo y también versiones que hacen estos grupos de canciones de otros grupos.
